What is COB lighting, and why does the ProFlex Deluxe Worklight use it?

COB stands for "chip-on-board." Many small LED chips are mounted together on one panel instead of using a single LED bulb. The result is a wide, even flood of light with fewer harsh hot spots than a standard LED beam. The ProFlex Deluxe Worklight uses COB as its main light because work lights need to cover a whole area, like an engine bay or workbench, rather than one narrow point. It also has a separate LED for longer runtime at lower output.

How do you position or mount the ProFlex Deluxe Worklight?

There are three ways. Stand it on its 180° pivot stand and tilt the light toward your work, hang it from the built-in hook, or attach the magnetic base to a metal surface such as a toolbox, car frame or steel shelf.
