How long does the Aura-RS run on a single charge? Can the battery be replaced?
About one hour on High (260 lumens) and up to 2.5 hours on Low (60 lumens). A full recharge takes roughly 1.5 hours using the included USB cable, so it's easy to top off between shifts.
A 10460 rechargeable lithium-ion battery ships in the box. It's a standard cell size, so it can be replaced down the road if it ever stops holding a charge.
Can I really hold the Aura-RS in my teeth?
Yes. The rubberized bite zone is designed for exactly that, giving you a secure, comfortable hold when you need both hands free for wiring, plumbing, or engine work. It's one of the reasons technicians reach for a penlight over a full-size flashlight.
What does the slide focus actually do?
Sliding the head adjusts the beam from a wide flood, good for lighting up a whole engine bay or crawlspace, to a tight spot that reaches up to 80 meters on High. You get both a work light and a throw light in one tool.
Is the Aura-RS waterproof?
The Aura-RS is water resistant, so rain, splashes, and damp job-site conditions won't hurt it. It isn't designed for submersion, so don't drop it in a bucket or leave it underwater.
Is 260 lumens bright enough for professional work?
For close-range work, yes, and that's what a penlight is for. 260 lumens is more than enough to light a fuse box, an engine bay, or the space behind a dryer, and at arm's length a brighter light can actually work against you, washing out detail and glaring off metal and glass. What matters more at that distance is beam quality and control, which is why the Aura-RS focuses down to an 80-meter spot when you need to reach across a bay or check something at the far end of a crawlspace. If you're lighting a whole work area or looking for something in a field, step up to a full-size light. But for inspection work in tight spaces, the Aura-RS is sized right.

A favorite of mine
I fell in love with this little light and carried it until it died. I've replaced the battery and cleaned everything I can reach and lightly sanded contacts to no avail. Sad sad day. I bought it at Lowe's a few years ago and just found the company website. I am much happier now.

Super handy and convenient
I absolutely love this little light. . it's very lightweight rechargeable bright and convenient. Great size/weight to brightness ratio. My only downside is the outdated micro USB charging it would've been nice for USB-C but it's still an awesome little light either way.

But use mine on the job all ways clip it on my collar does not pull down collar r get in the way keep up the good work plus have a dover on my belt it so killer have both on me at all times .
