- Can a standard 10440 3.7v lithium cell be used in this Flashlight? Asking because the original battery seems to have multiple ring contacts at the back. I'm assuming this is possibly for the built-in charging but I'm just curious if you where in a pinch.
- Thanks for your question! We definitely recommend using only the original 10460 battery that comes with the flashlight. While a 10440 3.7V lithium cell might seem like it could work, it’s not compatible. The flashlight relies on the specific ring contacts of the 10460 battery for built-in charging and safety features. Using a 10440 could trigger a short circuit detection on the PCB and cause the current to be cut off. For both safety and proper function, please stick with the 10460 battery. Let us know if you need help finding a replacement!
- I bought the Aura-RS 260 for my wife. It required a charge shortly after unpackaging, but didn't seem to take long for the led to turn green. It then seemed to work fine and my wife kept it in her purse for a couple days, when she went to use it was dead. Now it will only turn on if it's plugged in charging. The led stays green while plugged in also. I tried leaving plugged in for a few hours, turned off, to see if it would hold a charge but does not seem to work. Any suggestions?

- I believe my flashlight is one that you twist to reveal charging port, but I cannot locate a charging port anywhere on the flashlight. I'm not sure what modeling is but it is a rechargeable flashlight with a green Vans on it and it's a little more than four and a half inches long.
