Bought one a few years ago but hadn't really tested it. I took it to the lava cave in Sunriver Oregon. 1.1 miles to the end of the cave and then back. I took the flashlight and it was brighter than what anyone else had. A group stayed behind my daughter and I because my light was so bright. It stayed full brightness for the full trip...about an hour. So, I recently bought a second one since it proved itself to be the best.

⭐☆☆☆☆ Extremely disappointed, especially for the price. I purchased the Skylar-R 10,000 Lumen Rechargeable Flashlight in December 2025, and the problems actually started within about two weeks of receiving it. It has now been less than a year, and the flashlight has been very lightly used. The biggest issue is reliability. It frequently does not want to take a charge using the original charging cord, and sometimes it will simply stop working altogether. Honestly, it feels like this flashlight has spent more time not working than working. The battery life is another major disappointment. The product claims to hold a charge for up to 32 hours, but that has absolutely not been my experience. Even from the very beginning, I was lucky to get around 30 minutes of use out of it. That's nowhere remotely close to the advertised battery life. I paid over $100 for this flashlight, so I expected substantially better quality, durability, and reliability. At that price, I should be able to pick it up when I need it and know that it's going to charge, stay charged, and actually turn on. Instead, I have to wonder whether it's going to work at all. I haven't written this review sooner because life has been absolutely insane. I've been dealing with a custody battle, the loss of my mother, and a whole lot of other things, so reviewing a flashlight unfortunately wasn't exactly at the top of my priority list. But the problems were there from the beginning, and I feel people considering spending over $100 on this product deserve to know about my experience. For a flashlight advertised as 10,000 lumens with up to 32 hours of battery life, I expected something I could actually depend on. Unfortunately, this flashlight has been almost worthless to me. Very disappointed. I expected significantly better quality and reliability for the price, and I would not recommend it based on my experience.

Store owner replied: Thank you for taking the time to share such detailed feedback. We're very sorry to hear about the charging and runtime issues you've experienced with your Skylar-R, especially given the circumstances you've been dealing with. What you're describing is not the experience we want for our customers, and we'd appreciate the opportunity to look into this and help make it right. We will be reaching out via Email to make this right.
The shipment was perfect—very well assembled and delivered on time. A rechargeable flashlight is more affordable in the long term compared with the same product that uses batteries. It is heavier than the battery-operated version, but I really like it because it can also be used for additional protection purposes, especially if you go hiking or walking at night. The only thing I don’t like is that the focused light beam is much wider than the beam of the battery-operated version.
Skylar-R 10,000 Lumen Rechargeable Flashlight
Store owner replied: Thank you for the great review! We're glad your Skylar-R arrived on time and met your expectations. We also appreciate you highlighting the long-term value and convenience of rechargeable power. Thanks for choosing Police Security!
Just costs too much. Half that price would be reasonable.
Skylar-R 10,000 Lumen Rechargeable Flashlight
Store owner replied: Thank you for sharing your feedback. We understand that price is an important part of any purchase decision. The Skylar-R is designed to provide exceptional brightness and performance, with up to 10,000 lumens and the convenience of rechargeable power, and we believe the combination of features and performance makes it a great value for those looking for a powerful, dependable flashlight. We appreciate you taking the time to share your thoughts and will be sure to pass your feedback along to our team.

Haven’t really had a chance to use it yet but it’s definitely bright and seems well made. I was hoping for a beam that I could get tighter for longer distance.

Store owner replied: Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback! We're glad you're impressed with the Skylar-R's brightness and build quality. We also appreciate your feedback regarding the beam focus and your preference for a tighter beam for longer-distance use. We'll be sure to pass your comments along to our product team. I love your flashlights! I first bought another brand that was rechargeable and somehow didn’t notice that it wasn’t a C charger. I had it a little less than, or more than a year because the charging cable had a poor fit. It was difficult to “plug in” and to remove the cable. It finally seemed to have broken. NO CABLE CHARGING ISSUES WITH YOUR FLASHLIGHTS! The first one, I bought on sale, through one of the deal search apps. It’s 1000 lumens, which is impressive when the power goes out. It lights up a room so there’s no worries about tripping over something. My latest purchase comes from your website: 10,000 lumens is remarkable! The way it lights up a room, and nearby rooms, is better than our built ins and lamps. I have a vision problem that makes it difficult to see dark on dark. I bought a wagon that breaks down flat for transport, but I haven’t been able to use it because it’s black and the metal parts are black. So I couldn’t see where to connect/disconnect … nothing. I can light up the wagon, now, in order to fold it up and put it in the car. Plus, it’s heavy and would make a great emergency defense weapon. I think I’m turning into a flashlight junky.

Store owner replied: Thank you for such a thoughtful and detailed review! We're so glad you're enjoying our flashlights and especially appreciate hearing that you've had a great experience with the USB-C charging. It's wonderful to know the 1,000-lumen light has been helpful during power outages and that the Skylar-R's 10,000-lumen output is making it easier to see those hard-to-spot details around your home and with your wagon. We truly appreciate your support and welcome to the flashlight-enthusiast club! 😊 Thanks for choosing Police Security!

SKYLAR-R 10,000 LUMEN RECHARGEABLE FLASHLIGHT
Store owner replied: Thanks for your review! Please reach out to us at customerservice@policesecurity.com if we can help you with Turbo mode. In short, to activate Turbo mode, turn the flashlight on and hold the power button for 3 seconds. It will give you an added blast of 3000 lumens for up to 30 seconds.
Bad ass
Brightest I ever seen!
The light is very bright but the flashlight is too big for my job. Does it come in a mini flashlight option?
