The Scout 15-in-1 Pocket Multi-Tool includes a knife, saw, scissors, slotted screwdriver, Phillips screwdriver, can opener, bottle opener, corkscrew, hook remover, fish scaler, leather punch, nail file, nail cleaner, needle, and a carabiner clip. Together they cover cutting, light repairs, food and drink prep, fishing, and personal care.

The Scout 15-in-1 is the most compact model in the Scout line, with 15 tools in a pocket-size body. It’s a traditional folding pocket-knife-style multi-tool, while the larger Scout X and Scout XL are modern plier-based multi-tools built around needle-nose pliers.

The Scout X adds needle-nose pliers, a serrated knife, a box opener, a wire cutter, and a wire stripper. It drops the saw, scissors, can opener, corkscrew, leather punch, hook remover, fish scaler, needle, nail file and cleaner, and carabiner.

Each tool on the Scout 15-in-1 opens with a nail nick. Set your fingernail in the groove and pull the tool out until it’s fully extended. The tools don’t lock open, so keep pressure in the direction of the cut and keep your fingers clear of the edge when folding a tool back into the handle.

The Scout 15-in-1 uses 2Cr13 stainless steel, a lower-carbon stainless often used for multi-tool implements. It resists rust well and is easy to resharpen, which suits a tool that sees water, food, and outdoor use. It’s softer than the 3Cr13 steel on Police Security folding knives, so the blade may need touching up more often under heavy cutting.
