Ryder 500 Spec Sheet

The Ryder 500 has four modes: 500-lumen High, 130-lumen Low, steady red light and red flash. Use High for maximum brightness and Low to extend battery life. Red light preserves your night vision, and red flash marks your position after dark.

Rotate the bezel around the lens to adjust the beam. Turn it one way for a wide flood that lights up your hands and immediate surroundings. Turn it the other way for a tighter spot that reaches farther down a trail or across a field.

The Ryder 500 runs on 3 AAA batteries, and Police Security alkaline batteries are included. Expect about 2.5 hours on High and up to 7 hours on Low. For long-term storage, remove the batteries to prevent leaks.

The Ryder 500 is water resistant, not waterproof. It handles rain and splashes, but it should not be submerged. The housing is also impact resistant to withstand accidental drops.

Both Ryder headlamps run on 3 AAA batteries and include red night-vision modes. The Ryder 500 offers higher output (500 lumens), twist focus for switching between flood and spot, and longer Low-mode runtime. The Ryder 350 has a fixed long-reaching spot beam and a pivot mount, at a lower price point.
