The Glide Fold Folding Utility Knife is built for high-volume everyday cutting. That includes breaking down boxes, opening packaging, cutting tape, cardboard, and plastic strapping, and handling warehouse, jobsite, and workshop materials. Because the blade is replaceable, it works well for jobs that dull an edge quickly.

Open the Glide Fold and press the blade release button to free the used blade. Slide a new blade into the holder until it seats firmly, then close the knife to check it’s secure. Always handle utility blades by their unsharpened back edge. The Glide Fold accepts standard trapezoid utility blades, available at most hardware stores.

SK5 is a Japanese high-carbon tool steel that hardens well and takes a sharp edge, which is why it’s common in utility blades. Because it’s carbon steel rather than stainless, it can rust if left wet. Wipe the Glide Fold’s blade dry after use, and replace the blade when it starts to drag or tear instead of slicing cleanly.

Both Police Security Glide knives use a replaceable SK5 steel utility blade. The Glide Fold is the compact option, with a stainless steel handle and liner lock sized for pocket carry and everyday cutting like boxes, tape, and packaging. The Glide Pro is the full-size option, with a lightweight aluminum handle, a button lock, and thumb ridges for heavier jobsite work. Both knives use the same replacement blades.
