COB (Chip-on-Board) lighting mounts many small LED chips together on a single board rather than using one focused emitter. That produces a wide, even flood of light instead of a single beam. The Colt-R Headlamp combines a standard LED emitter for a focused, long-range beam with a COB array for close-up, wide-area lighting giving one headlamp both a spotlight and a work light.

The Colt-R Headlamp offers seven total power modes: LED Turbo, High, and Low for focused beam lighting, plus COB Turbo, High, Night Vision (red), and Red Strobe for flood lighting, low-light use, and emergency signaling.

The Colt-R Headlamp is water-resistant and drop-tested to 1 meter, making it suitable for rain, fog, and typical outdoor or jobsite conditions. It is not rated for submersion.

The Colt-R Headlamp charges via the included USB-C cable from any standard USB power source such as a wall adapter, laptop, or portable power bank with a full charge taking about 3 hours 10 minutes.

The Colt-R Headlamp's COB Night Vision mode emits red light, which doesn't disrupt natural night vision the way white light does. It's useful for map reading, wildlife observation, or camp tasks after dark without losing your eyes' adjustment to low light.
