Police Security's ProFlex flashlight features the ultimate in flashlight flexibility. This compact LED penlight has two power source options: a rechargeable 14500 lithium battery or a 1AA alkaline battery, both included in the box. Recharge the lithium battery via USB-C, or swap in the AA alkaline whenever it's more convenient. We stand behind our products which is why every Police Security flashlight is covered by a limited lifetime manufacturer's warranty. If a defect affects how your light performs, we'll take care of the replacement FOR LIFE.

Warranty coverage doesn't extend to normal wear and tear, misuse, neglect, or battery corrosion, but if the light let you down through no fault of your own, we want to make it right.

A compact light only earns a spot in your pocket if it's actually reliable when you need it, and the ProFlex is built around that idea: swap between a rechargeable lithium battery and an AA alkaline battery depending on what you have on hand. On Turbo, it puts out up to 500 lumens with a 140-meter beam, and it's compact enough to clip into a pocket or bag. Below are the questions we hear most from mechanics, everyday carry users, and anyone who wants a backup light that's always ready.

How does the dual power system work?

The ProFlex runs on a removable 14500 lithium battery, which recharges via the included USB-C cable in about 5 hours, or you can swap in the included 1AA alkaline battery instead. Both batteries ship in the box, so you can use whichever is more convenient, keep the lithium battery charged for daily use and the AA as an emergency backup, or the reverse.

How bright is it?

On the rechargeable lithium battery, output ranges from 180 lumens on Low up to 500 lumens on Turbo, with a beam that reaches up to 140 meters on Turbo and High. On the AA alkaline battery, output is lower since alkaline delivers less current: 35 lumens on Low up to 130 lumens on Turbo, with a beam up to 70 meters. Slide focus lets you adjust the beam from a wide flood to a tighter spot in either mode.

How long does the battery last?

Runtime depends on the battery and mode. On the rechargeable lithium battery, High runs about 2 hours and Low runs about 3.5 hours (Turbo isn't rated for continuous runtime). On the AA alkaline battery, High runs about 3 hours and Low runs about 10 hours. Because both batteries are included, you can carry a charged spare or a fresh AA for backup runtime.

Is the ProFlex durable enough for everyday and work use?

Yes. It's impact-resistant and weather-resistant, and the soft switch button makes it easy to cycle through modes even with gloves on or in a hurry. Its compact, penlight-style design is built to fit in a pocket, bag, or toolbox without adding bulk.
