If your light isn't working the way it should, we want to know.
Every Police Security flashlight is covered by a limited lifetime manufacturer's warranty. If a defect affects how your light performs, we'll take care of the replacement. Warranty coverage doesn't extend to normal wear and tear, misuse, neglect, or battery corrosion — but if the light let you down through no fault of your own, reach out.

Charge times vary by model and battery capacity. Most Police Security rechargeable flashlights reach a full charge within 2 to 4 hours via USB-C. The Zephyr-R 1500 uses an 18650 battery and charges through a standard USB-C connection, while the Zephyr-RS 550 uses a smaller 14500 cell and typically charges faster. A built-in charge indicator shows when charging is complete.
Runtime depends on the output mode selected. The Zephyr-R 1500 delivers up to 7 hours of continuous runtime, while lower-lumen models run longer per charge. Police Security flashlights include power-saving modes that extend runtime by reducing brightness output. The Twin Power series adds an alkaline battery backup, so users are not limited to a single charge cycle when power sources are unavailable.
