"I work on. my Ural gear up motorcycle in a dark corner of a limited light underground garage. Being sick and tired of trying to get magnet flashlights orientated correctly to see what i was doing i purchased the 1000 lumen lookout. Never again do I have to fiddle with lamps to see exactly where my hands have to be working. Three days ago I noticed the the battery container latch had broken off. I remembered that the lamp came with an impressive warranty, one of the main reasons I selected this brand was a few years ago I punched a Duracel working lamp witch failed within two weeks. When I contacted Duracel they said they didn't waranty their flashlights and to return to the retailer. Why bother, take the hit and remember who made it. Understand that the design of the headlight makes this broken latch a minor inconvenience because the head straps hold the latch closed which is between your head and the harness . I decided to submit a. waranty claim just out of curiosity. That was Monday. night. Tuesday they acknowledged receipt and today Thursday 10am i receive a brand new replacement. The claim consisted of where did you buy it. When did you buy it. What's wrong with it. No receipt required I still feel a bit overwhelmed. Thank you Police Security"

"The wife bought me the LOOKOUT-ELITE for my birthday. Won’t run on high but 10 seconds

"Ever since I got my 1000 lumen police head lamp I’ve never been able to run it on high it goes off after about 6 seconds but it’s great on low but I paid for a 1000 lumen but didn’t get one sorry and I love it but I do not enjoy not getting to use it on high"

Won't stay on.

"I purchased my Police Security Lookout Headlamp from Autozone. I don't use it that often but when I do I expect it to work properly and it was fine after about three (3) uses, however, it no longer stays on. it goes off after approx. 30 seconds. Its sad that in todays world the quality has gone out the window because companies now play the numbers game hoping that most purchases will not get returned. I however will takening this back to Autozone."

How many volts is the light?: Thanks for your question! This light is 6v.
I have the policesecurity headlamp and have enjoyed it very much, however it has lost the inside portion of the charging port and I am no longer able to charge it. My sister had the same problem with a unit I had purchased for her and she was sent a new unit as the cost to return the item surpassed the cost of the unit. I am hoping that you will honor the lifetime manufacturers warranty and issue a new unit to myself as well. I also live in Canada and I am able to send you photos of the unit if you require that to show that there has been no damage to it. I am also wondering if this is a known problem with the headlamp? I've had my 1000 lumen headlamp the better part of a year. I love it, and depend on it a lot. Recently it will only quickly flash once when I push the button, and then go off. The batteries are fresh, and the lamp output flash appears to be full strength - it just won't stay on.
