"I have had the old version of this flashlight for as long as i can remember. I bought many throughout the years and they are still going strong. I was at Walmart today and noticed that it's been updated to 80 lumens. The old versions of this light where all 45 lumens so out of curiosity i bought yet another one (now i have 4!) apon closer inspection it seems to be using a more powerful LED and is significantly brighter and has a lot more throw then the older versions. I'm talking about at least double the brightness as the old 45 lumen versions and much more throw! I'm glad they updated it. It's now around as bright as my Coast PX22 which is also a single AAA light the exact same size as these police security "mole" lights the only the difference is that it's rated at 100 lumens and is significantly brighter then any of the older 45 lumen versions of the mole Flashlight I've owned. This new updated one is finally just as bright! There isn't a large difference between this new one and the PX22 and I'm really glad they updated. It is a bit cheaper priced then the PX22 too but not by a significant margin. The Coast one has a low mode which is 43 lumens or just around the same level of light as the older moles. This is the only other improvement I'd add to this police security version of this light as it only has one mode which is the highest. It would be nice to have a low mode too and I'd definitely rather pay a tiny bit more for that but otherwise it's a great light! The Coast was previously my favorite single AAA light as I've yet to come across a brighter one dispite owning many from various brands. This updated police security mole is now another favorite of mine! Both are much brighter than the older versions and most of the single AAA flashlights out there I've been able to find. I really like them ! Definitely worth well the money! All 4 of mines are still going great many years later!"

"Perfect size to keep in pocket so it’s handy when I need it the only complaint is my previous mole had slightly larger hole for the split ring for my key so I had to find a smaller one, coating also wore off first one after only 5 years of use."

"Came across this in my local hardware/lumber yard. Grabbed one for work. Work at a glass house that makes bottles. Use it for finding specific numbered ware worth defects. Works perfect. Small and bright for what I use or for. Only hiccup is that after a couple months, seems the battery doesn't connect properly. Definitely worth it and actually want another. Super useful and convenient piece."
